![]() Hooray! Summer is nearly here. The temperatures are rising...but...not just outdoors. This week we've had a rash of fevers hit our crew, along with other little ones we know. Not with the runny noses, coughs and other issues of this past cold/flu season. We've had our first ear infection in the house, causes unknown. And then this post comes up on my Facebook feed from the Ask Dr. Sears Page: What's going around: summertime illnesses; most common summertime illnesses Well played Camp Sears. Apparently there is something called "summer" flu that can bring fevers without alot of symptoms. Maybe this isn't news to you but I've learned something new today. Yes, that this exists, but also that just because it's summer doesn't mean you get a vacation from bugs:) Here's hoping your little ones avoid these common illnesses Leave a Reply. |
